Bihar flood relief and rehabilitation work

- Distributed 5000 blankets among flood affected people.
- Distributed 250 winter cloths among children.
- Repairing of 300 houses has been started.
- Repair work of 13 Madarsas/ Schools building completed.
- Repair work of 4 Masajids completed.
- Distributed food-grains among 220 families.
- Financial Support was given to 27 brides at the time of marriage.
- Coaching classes for metric students have been started at four places. Approximately 130 students are participating in each centre.
- Provided employment to 48 people.
- 51 hand-pumps were distributed.
- Medical treatment has been given to 71 patients those were seriously affected by water born-disease.

Social Service Wing Activities

The Social Service Department of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Assam, Bihar, West Bengal and Delhi organized Iftar Party in several places and distributed food materials and Cloths among the poor and needy people. Assam (North) has distributed an amount of Rs. 75,000/- among the poor and needy people during the month of Ramdhan. Ifthar kits were distributed to poor people in Delhi and suburbs.

Blankets were distributed among poor people at the time of winter in Hariyana, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand and UP.

Sponsorship obtained to Idare-e-Tahqeeqat Aligarh (Centre for Research and Studies) for constructing upstairs of the existing head quarters. The work is in progress.

Sponsored 100 more orphans at the cost of Rs.750 per month, apart from the existing sponsorship for 250 orphans.

Sponsored one orphanage at the cost of Rs.20 lakhs in Baleriaganj, UP. The initial work is going on.

Completed the construction of 10 more houses in different places of Meerut, Moradabad, Bijnore of UP, at the cost of Rs.25000 each house.

Conducted Qurbani programme On the occasion of Eidul Adha 1429H the Qurbani programmes have conducted in Bihar flood affected areas specially and Assam and Delhi in generaly. Thousands of flood-affected and poor and needy people have benefited by Qubani meet.

Allotted Rs.7 lakhs for school bag distribution among 1200 poor students in West Bengal, UP, Assam, Bihar and Jharkhand.
